Meals

The first meeting of the month, a Lion (or Lions) will volunteer to cook the meal.  The second meeting of the month will always be potluck.  This should make it easy for members to know what to expect each meeting.  If you are unable to bring a dish to share for the potluck, please do come.  The potlucks are always great and we have plenty of food for everyone.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Thank you to all the Lions who helped serve ice cream at the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7th.

TRICK OR TREAT BAGS

Remember McGruff?  Take a Bite Out of Crime”. Our club has voted to purchase McGruff reflective trick or treat bags and hand them out to Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades for Halloween. The bags are made of Mylar type material.  They will have a Halloween design on them and will have helpful tips for the trick-or-treaters.  Our Lions’ name will also appear on the bags.

GOOD NEIGHBOR DAYS

The Howard Lake Lions recognized Lion Tom Sullivan for his individual effort in participating in Good Neighbor Days.  Lion Tom organized the wrestling that performed on Saturday.

The Good Neighbor Days Committee is looking for volunteers to be on the committee.  They meet once a month and as Good Neighbor Days draws closer, they meet once a week.
