If bringing a gift, please specify either man from a man or lady from a lady. There will also be a short business meeting following the meal. The fun will begin at 6:30 PM.
Our second meeting will be take place on Thursday, December 21st at our new meeting place. There will be a Board of Directors meeting at 6:30 P.M. So far, no one has volunteered to cook for this meeting. If there is no meal the meeting will be at 7:00 PM. If you are interested in cooking for this meeting, please let Lion Steve know by December 7th.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Bruce Hoffman concert is definitely scheduled for Sunday, February 18th. Like last year, there will be two shows. The cost of the tickets will be $20 per person. More details in future newsletters.
Thanks to Lions Cathy Rufer and Susan Grangroth for co-chairing Sight Night on Saturday, October 28th in conjunction with our Halloween party. There was a total of 158 children who attended this event. A good time was had by all. Also, thanks to the Howard Lake Lion members who helped out that day.

A committee has been formed to oversee the work on the new Lions Hall. They are Lions Mike Main, Darrell Main, and Gary Hagemann. They have scheduled a “work day” for Saturday, November 25th at 8:00 AM. The purpose of this work day is to have it ready to go for our Governor’s Night/Christmas party on December 7th.
Our sympathies go out to Lion Sam Gruenhagen on the loss of his mother, Ruth Gruenhagen.
