How to join

You can become a Lion!

Ask any member for an application or log onto the Lions International web site to locate a club near you.

WHY BECOME A MEMBER:

There are many different reasons to become a member. For most, it is to be part of a volunteer club that serves their community. Whether it is working at our fund raising projects or doing a service for someone in need. It is also a great way to meet new people, make new friends, and have fun all while helping those in need from your own community to around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MEMBER:

Of course when you join a club you want to be as active as you can. But we understand family and work come first. It is really up to you on the time you are able to commit. Some are able to attend meetings and projects regularly, and some are able to help us on one project a year. We are fortunate to have members of all ages, backgrounds, talents, and time availabilities in our club. We welcome everyone who wants to join and serve their community in someway. Annual dues for the Clear Lake Lions club are currently $60.00 per year.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER:

Contact a current Lion to be invited to a meeting to learn more about Lionism and our club. If you do not know a current Lion, you can e:mail our club at lions@hllions.org and leave a message, or show up to one of our meetings. Our meetings are held at the Lions Hall on the first and third Thursday of each month at 625 8th Street at 6:30 p.m. Let us know you are interested in becoming a member. You are always welcome to sit in on one of our meetings.
